Flower alternative: Emersonmade

I’ve mentioned before that I’m iffy on having too many real flowers at my wedding (because of their short life span to high expense ratio), and the fine folks at Emersonmade can certainly help in that department.  They specialize in hand-crafted fabric flowers, for everything from your groomsmen’s boutonnieres to cute little clutch purses for your bridesmaids.

They even do full-out bridal bouquets.  Prices range from $18.50 for small pins to $250 for a large bouquet.  Although this might seem expensive, it’s worth considering that the items are both made-from-scratch and will last longer than three days stored in the refrigerator.

Their website also announces that they’ll be starting an apparel line later this year.  Check out their online shop for more info!

About Ally

What started as a joke at a White Castle and a prank on a friend, ended with a box of cupcakes with an engagement ring in it. This is the story of our not-so-traditional wedding.
