Buying a Used Wedding Dress

So, there are plenty of brides out there who are not sentimental about having their wedding dress preserved and put away in the closet only to be taken out once a year on their anniversary, if that.

There are also plenty of brides who need to save a buck on purchasing that gown in the first place.

Well, Once Wed has both groups covered.  The website, which also has some great DIY suggestions for your wedding, provides a forum for brides-that-were to sell their slightly used dresses to brides-to-be. Of course, you have to hope that if you find the dress of your dreams on there it’s in your size; but the site provides some handy search options, so you can seek your gown out by designer, size, or condition. Some dresses even happen to be new, with the tags still on. (Which makes me sad, because that probably means it’s from a wedding that never was. But that failed wedding might make some budget-conscious bride very happy!)

Check out Once Wed’s Used Wedding Dresses. Definitely worth a look-see!

About Ally

What started as a joke at a White Castle and a prank on a friend, ended with a box of cupcakes with an engagement ring in it. This is the story of our not-so-traditional wedding.
